Location: Geraldton, WA | Fixed Term Contract to 30 June 2027 / Ongoing employment after 30 June 2027 is subject to funding.

Regional Alliance West is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing disadvantage across the Midwest, Murchison and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia. For over 40 years, we have delivered compassionate, community-driven services in some of the most remote and under-resourced parts of the state.

With a committed team of over 30 staff and volunteers, we operate 11 unique programs ranging from community legal outreach and counselling to advocacy and tailored support services. Our mission is simple: to provide accessible, practical support to empower individuals and strengthen communities.

About the Role

As a Homelessness Case Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Your work will focus on ensuring clients are effectively linked with mainstream services and are provided with targeted, practical, and ongoing support to achieve long-term, secure, and stable housing. This role is instrumental in helping clients stabilise their lives and improve their wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide tailored case management to support clients in securing and sustaining long-term, stable housing.
* Link clients to essential services, including health, education, employment, financial, and social supports.
* Deliver tenancy support, including practical in-home assistance and skills development.
* Maintain accurate case records, assess client needs, and collaborate with other professionals and services.
* Build and maintain strong community networks to enhance support pathways and advocate for client needs.

About You

We are looking for a compassionate and proactive individual with strong case management experience, a commitment to social justice, and a dedication to supporting vulnerable people with empathy and respect. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

* Strong knowledge of homelessness, housing systems, and related services.
* Experience working with individuals experiencing complex needs.
* Ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
* A proactive, solutions focussed approach to problem solving.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Qualifications in Social Work, Community Services or a related field or extensive experience in the same.
* Experience with casework, tenancy support, or related areas, including case file management and provision of reports.
* Ability to work collaboratively with other Agencies within Housing First principles
* Current WA Driver's licence.
* Current Working with Children's Check and National Police Clearance
