Job Opportunity: Emergency Management Coordinator
Position Details:
* Immediate start. Part-time 3 days per week (0.6FTE)
* Location: Western Melbourne. Hybrid work setup: 2 days in the office, 1 day WFH
* 6-month contract role
About the Role
As the Emergency Management Coordinator, you will:
1. Develop and document emergency management policies, procedures, and response plans.
2. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Prepare for emergency drills, training sessions, and incident response efforts.
4. Review emergency preparedness initiatives and improve disaster response strategies.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in emergency management, disaster response, or public safety.
* Strong knowledge of incident command systems (ICS) and emergency response frameworks.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant qualifications in Emergency Management, Public Safety, or a related field.
