 
        
        Financial Reporting Specialist Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to cover Australian financial reporting for a leading global business.
This is a hands-on role requiring end-to-end ownership of the financial statements, audit coordination, and engagement with local stakeholders.
 * Lead the preparation of Australian financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
 * Manage and coordinate external audit processes, including liaising with auditors and internal stakeholders.
 * Work closely with the Board of Directors on financial reporting matters.
 * Collaborate with finance teams to ensure consistency and compliance.
 * Contribute to process improvements and support automation initiatives.
 * Provide input on technical accounting issues relating to new projects or business activities.
About the Role
 * CPA or CA qualified, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in finance and accounting roles.
 * Proven experience preparing statutory financial statements, ideally using Workiva.
 * Strong background in external audit, preferably with time spent in Big Four or working with large multinational clients.
 * Skilled in technical accounting with solid IFRS knowledge.
 * Comfortable working independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
 * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
