We're looking for an outstanding, experienced therapist who is committed to delivering gold-standard client care and who want to step into a high-level clinical role within a supportive, growth-focused team.
Urban Well is a cutting-edge multidisciplinary health clinic (Remedial Massage, EP, and soon Physiotherapy & small group classes). Just Knead It is our Remedial Massage arm, known for exceptional client outcomes, high standards, strong ties within elite sports communities and a positive, collaborative culture.
This is not an ordinary massage role.
This is a Principal Therapist position for experienced clinicians who care deeply about clinical excellence, client outcomes, lifelong learning, and contributing to a high-performing team.
Who You Are
You are the kind of therapist who:
* Has exceptional hands-on skills, pressure control, palpation accuracy, and well-structured treatment planning.
* Applies strong clinical reasoning — you understand common and uncommon presentations, work with a clear hypothesis, and use test–retest effectively.
* Communicates with clarity, empathy, and confidence — you build trust, help clients understand their plan, and support them through their goals.
* Is highly skilled in assessment: ROM testing, special tests, differential diagnosis awareness, nerve pathways, joint mobility, ligament relevance, and exercise cueing.
* Treats confidently across a wide range of presentations including:
tendinopathies, post-op clients, chronic/complex pain, neurological involvement, sports injury management, and general MSK conditions.
* Is confident collaborating with EPs, physios & other referral partners.
* Is committed to raising clinical standards in the massage industry.

What You'll Do
* Deliver exceptional, results-based remedial massage sessions tailored to each client. (Assessment, Deep Tissue, Sports, Dry Needling (optional), Mobilisations, ART/MFR, Trigger Point Release, After Care and Treatment Planning)
* Lead client care using a structured clinical reasoning process.
* Contribute to our training & development program as a senior clinician.
* Communicate professionally with referral partners using our streamlined templates.
* Build long-term client outcomes through clear treatment plans and ethical rebooking.
* Engage in continuous education, masterclasses, tutorials, and case discussions.

Requirements
* SORRY - no sponsorship available must have rights to work in Australia
* Diploma of Remedial Massage (minimum)
* Advanced clinical experience — ideally 4+ years
* Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
* Ability to manage complex presentations confidently
* Commitment to ongoing learning and reflective practice
* Eligibility for health fund rebates
