Job Overview
Vista's Australia People Team seeks a strategic partner to drive the delivery of people and safety initiatives.
This role will collaborate closely with senior leaders to drive continuity, capability uplift, and development for the local team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide critical support to senior leaders, including participation in forums, approvals, and regional representation as needed.
* Coordinate core processes such as mid-year and year-end performance reviews, talent calibration, engagement actions, and organisational planning for Australia.
* Develop and implement compliance and governance activities, including policy reviews, contract changes, and regulatory obligations.
* Support the preparation and coordination of the Vista Enterprise Agreement renewal and related employee engagement activities.
* Lead employee lifecycle initiatives, including onboarding, offboarding, and case management with HR Advisors.
* Provide subject matter expertise on employment law, risk mitigation, and workplace culture.
* Guide and support HR Advisors and the Safety Lead to develop their professional capability and decision-making confidence.
* Oversee projects across key areas such as engagement, workforce planning, learning, and change.
* Advocate for data-informed decision-making through insights, dashboards, and reporting.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. They must have experience in employment law, risk management, and human resources.
