Role Description/Criteria
We are currently seeking a teacher for a Grade 5/6 class. The successful applicant will work in a class share position with our other Grade 5/6 teacher. We are looking for an enthusiastic classroom practitioner, familiar with the Victorian Curriculum, who is able to collaborate with others as part of a team working towards improving learning outcomes for all students in their care. A passion for teaching and an understanding of learning in a contemporary environment is essential. The position is for Term 4 2025, commencing 6th October 2025.

Openness to feedback from students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to engage students in learning and facilitate best educational practices.
You will have:
Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School is desirable; however, a commitment to obtaining accreditation may be considered.
A commitment to upholding St Mary’s School’s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct, in line with Ministerial Order 1359.
