Promet distributes, installs, and services conveyors and accessories such as Scrapers, Trackers, Impact Beds and Guarding to the mining and port industries in Western Australia.
We are expanding and need additional service technicians to join our team. If you are interested in working for a Perth-based company in a service role, fly-in or drive-in across the state to multiple sites, please apply. Our work is conveyor-based, and we typically spend 3 to 5 days on-site, incorporating within client shutdowns anywhere from the Pilbara to Kalgoorlie to Esperance.

**Purpose of the role**
To remove the burden, and complications and improve the maintenance and installations relating to our customers' operational efficiency with their conveyor systems.
**Your key responsibilities will be**
- To be a brand manager and demonstrate Promet values
- Maintaining a high level of service, installation, and maintenance on client conveyor systems to ensure a world-class service experience.
- Maintaining regular contact with the team
- Promoting healthy relationships with customers and colleagues
- Travel to client sites for deployment on a regular basis.
- The ability to adapt to a diversity of workplace environments
- The ability to work both as a member of a small team and as an individual.
- Possess a strong commitment to WH&S in the workplace
**Your qualifications and experiences**
- Trade qualifications - Mechanical Fitter/Boilermaker/Fabrication
- Previous experience with conveyor maintenance
- High-Risk Work Licences such as LF, WP, DG, and RA _**:
- highly regarded**_
- Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications _**- highly regarded**_
- Previous experience on mine sites _**:
- highly regarded**_
- A commitment to safety and a strong work ethic
**You will need**
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screens.
- National Police Clearance - valid within three (3) months or willing to obtain one.
- Basic level of computer literacy.
- Current Western Australian "C" class drivers' licence.
- Proof of vaccination (proof still required for some sites)
**NOTE**:
- All employees will be required to pass police clearance screening, drug and alcohol testing and pre-employment medicals.
