Job Description
We are seeking a creative digital marketing specialist to join our team and help showcase our destination brand 'THIS is Kingston'. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing content that creates brand awareness and showcases our city.
The role involves curating a content plan that responds to project objectives and audience trends, day-to-day management of brand channels including social media and website, and developing relationships within the local business and creative community.
The ideal candidate will have skills and confidence to shoot and edit short-form content with broad appeal, experience managing medium-sized social communities, strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, and ability to work flexible hours.
About You
* Skills in creating engaging digital content, managing social media platforms, and developing content plans.
* Experience in working with local businesses and creative communities, building relationships and partnerships.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Knowledge of destination marketing principles and practices, with a focus on creating brand awareness and driving tourism growth.
