One of Australia's leading **Federal Government Departments** is looking to engage an experienced to join their **Service Designer** to join a multidisciplinary team based in their **Canberra.** The successful **Service Designer **will to work alongside a highly cooperative and passionate human-centred design team to improve the departments experiences for businesses. The successful **Service Designer** will secure a **6 month contract **with a **12 month extension options** and a **rewarding pay.**
The successful **Service Designer **will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Support the planning, facilitation and analysis of user research activities.
- Strong analysis skills and ability to absorb and analyse a range of information sources including research studies, process diagrams and technical artefacts.
- Support the shaping of actionable insights to inform decisions and recommendations.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate findings and influence decision making.
The successful **Service Designer **will have experience in the following:
- Experience working with various disciplines to solve problems, identify opportunities for improvement and progress shared deliverables
- Ability to bring together a variety of lenses (e.g. user experience and technical feasibility) to produce actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience working in a team to plan, conduct and synthesise user research activities to inform decision making and reforms.
