CMBM Facility Services (Clean, Maintain, Build, Manage) is a long-established Queensland owned and operated company with our head office based in Eight Mile Plains.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Administration professional to join our team on a full-time basis, covering maternity leave. This role plays a key part in supporting our Cleaning division by ensuring accurate invoicing, strong cash flow, and efficient administrative processes.

Role Details

* Maternity Leave Contract

* Full-time, office-based

* Working hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

About the Role

Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable functions while providing administrative support to ensure smooth financial operations across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

* Prepare and issue scheduled invoices for weekly, fortnightly, and monthly accounts

* Liaise with the Operations team to manage changes to programmed invoices and update the accounting system accurately

* Respond to client invoice enquiries promptly and in line with established procedures

* Process invoices for ad hoc works, including raising purchase orders for contractors

* Set up new contracts and maintain contract amendments (pricing, scope, timelines) in the system

* Prepare monthly variation invoices and follow up with Operations where required

* Generate and provide regular reports to the Management team outlining contract changes and amendments.

* Maintaining accurate records in line with company policies and procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounts receivable or administration role

* Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping best practices

* High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret numerical information accurately

* High-level Microsoft Office skills

* Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently as well as part of a team

* A background in accounting or finance (preferred)
