About the role..
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Speech Therapist to join our growing Cairns team
In this role, you will provide evidence-based therapy to clients with a range of communication and swallowing needs, working within a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Whether you're experienced or just starting your career, we will provide the support and professional development you need to thrive
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring clients receive tailored Speech Therapy services that are individualised, person-centred and strength based in line with the values of our service delivery model.
* Providing a high standard of service for clients with both communication needs and dysphagia management / mealtime management needs.
* Collaborating and being a part of an allied health multidisciplinary team
* Working with a varied caseload of adult clients aged 16 years and over
* Maintaining awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance
* Participate in ongoing professional development and staying up to date with latest research and treatment techniques
About You...

* SPA-registered Speech Therapist (or eligibility for registration)
* Tertiary level qualifications in Speech Therapy
* Passion for client-centered, evidence-based therapy

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* A proactive and innovative mindset
* Strong commitment and professionalism to customer centred care
* Highly motivated and a positive attitude
* Current driver's license
