Job Description:
The role of Clinical Nurse Consultant for ICU Research is a unique position responsible for creating, managing and facilitating clinical trials in the ICU and CTICU. The vision for this role is to deliver, manage and uphold quality standards of research conducted.
About the Role:
This position works under the direction of the Directors of ICU and ICU Research. It will manage all aspects of Intensive Care research from feasibility and planning through to implementation, participant enrolment and management, study conduct, data management, study close-out and archiving. The successful candidate will have proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of Intensive Care research
- Collaborate with the directors of ICU and ICU Research
- Ensure high-quality research outcomes
Requirements:
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum five years full-time equivalent postgraduate qualification experience and a postgraduate qualification in the field of practice
- Proven clinical leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework
