Frontline Equipment Maintenance is seeking to hire experienced Field Service technicians, mechanical and electrical, to join our team in Queensland. As a full-time Field Service technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy mining equipment, including excavators, haul trucks, and other mobile plant and machinery. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to work on a variety of complex equipment in the mining and resources industry.
What you'll be doing
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a range of heavy mining equipment and machinery
Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Liaise with clients and managers to ensure timely completion of all work
Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
Provide on-site technical support and advice to clients as required
What we're looking for
Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Light Vehicle Mechanic, or equivalent
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Current driver's licence and ability to operate heavy machinery
Willingness to work in a remote location and travel to mine sites as required
Must reside within Australia
