I am partnered with a leading Tier 2 Contractor working across the East Coast of Australia specialising in Land Development and Infrastructure projects. They specialise in delivering projects from $5m-$20m. This is a very well established business operating for over 20 years and still continuing to grow. With an impressive amount of work currently on the go and more in the pipeline they are looking for a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to join the team.
What you'll be doing
- Effectively planning, organising and overseeing all aspects of civil construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborating closely with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Identifying and mitigating risks, implementing appropriate controls and escalating issues as required
- Providing expert guidance and leadership to the project team, delegating tasks and monitoring performance
- Preparing comprehensive reports, budgets and other documentation to track project progress and communicate with key stakeholders
- Ensuring all construction activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience (6+ years) working as a Project Manager in the civil construction industry
- Demonstrated success in leading the delivery of complex infrastructure projects from concept to completion
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to effectively lead, motivate and develop high-performing project teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
