We are thrilled to announce the introduction of a newly created role, joining our dynamic Technical Support Team, who provide technical advice, coaching, as well as quality and capability uplift to our dedicated Claims teams. In the role of Recoveries Specialist, you will provide guidance to Case Managers around recovery and collections activities.
Reporting to the Team Lead – Fraud and Work Capacity, this is a unique opportunity to use your existing knowledge and experience to improve our case management capability and technical aptitude.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive review, evaluation, and management of processes related to the recovery of compensation payments and claim expenses from third parties;
* Own the end to end process on claims involving recoveries;
* Coach, and provide specialist support advice with Claims, Eligibility and Technical teams around a range of recovery-related matters;
* Liaise with legal providers regarding litigated claims, and apply advice accordingly;
* Work collaboratively with broader business units, including the Claims, Technical, and Operation Support Services functions;
* Participate in key business projects.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in workers compensation case management would be highly desirable. Working exposure to the recoveries and collections, and dispute resolution processes would be advantageous;
* Excellent attention to detail;
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
* Highly-developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of organisation;
* A strategic mindset and approach to work;
* A strong sense of team and collaboration;
* A resilient attitude.
