We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Practitioner (VR and Non-VR) for immediate start to join our dynamic team at Flinders Avenue Surgery, located in Whyalla Stuart, South Australia.
As a General Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to our diverse patient community. This is a contract position, offering the flexibility to tailor your work arrangements to suit your needs.
What you’ll be doing
* Working hours are from 9 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
* Conducting comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients of all ages.
* Providing preventative care and health education to patients.
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Participating in professional development and continuing education activities.
* Adhering to all relevant medical, legal, and ethical standards.
What we’re looking for
* Full medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), either as a Vocationally Registered (VR) or Non-Vocationally Registered (Non-VR) General Practitioner.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a General Practice setting.
* Demonstrated clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of medical conditions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, colleagues, and the broader healthcare team.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
