Bechtel has been selected by Woodside Energy to deliver Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2 project. This project involves expansion of second LNG train at existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia.
Project Overview
Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. Additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.
We are excited to be working with Woodside Energy to help meet increasing global demand for LNG as transitional energy source.
Job Responsibilities
* Deskside and remote IT support.
* Hardware software deployment and support.
* Implement Bechtel policies procedures and standards.
* Plan and implement IT equipment and services as project progresses.
* Coordination with Bechtel IS&T Service Center and Bechtel Support teams.
* Coordination with procurement and vendors.
* Asset management and Call management using Service Now.
* Assist with installation testing and commissioning of server network telecommunications components such as routers switches server and storage etc.
* Support implementation of information security for project including policies procedures and standards that support information security program and protect against unauthorized usage modification disclosure and destruction of data systems.
* Maintains strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate in distracted environment.
* Maintains accurate records and documentations.
* Individual must possess strong interpersonal skills required for working with diverse workforce.
Education and Experience Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems or other IT related Technology (equivalent years of experience considered).
* 5+ years IT experience in field/office location.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
* 5+ years of experience with hardware and operating systems including system architectures network infrastructures client server principles backup recovery and storage policies and procedures implementing disaster prevention and recovery.
* 5+ years of experience identifying tracking and resolving problems using comprehensive techniques and methods of troubleshooting end-user problems.
Additional Information
This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental construction and operational conditions which may include extensive walking in and around active construction and/or operations site climbing ladders working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding mobile elevating work platforms use of personal fall arrest equipment walking and working on uneven surfaces working in constricted confined spaces variable work shifts and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task i.e. respirator harness life vest hearing protection etc.
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products - i.e. cigarettes vapes lighters tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
