Certainly, you will be part of an agile and efficient team that manages the energy supply and delivery from wholesale gas and electricity markets to manufacturing sites across Australia.
This role involves supporting the energy management function by covering procurement, administration, cost allocation, and analysis of existing and potential energy costs and supply.
You will also be responsible for supplier invoice reconciliation and validation to enable timely processing, administering payment through the Group SAP system, and ensuring accurate and equitable allocation of energy purchased at the Group level to individual sites.
Data analysis and modeling skills are necessary to feed into the annual and long-term group-wide energy budget with support from the Energy Manager, Business Unit operations managers, finance managers using our Energy system tools.
The successful candidate will have a strong focus on delivering results and high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To support energy management function covering procurement, administration, cost allocation and analysis of existing and potential energy costs and supply.
2. Supplier invoice reconciliation and validation to enable payment approval and facilitation of timely processing including administering payment through the Group SAP system and Accounts Payables' team is completed.
3. Data analysis and modelling to feed into the annual and long term group wide energy budget with support from the Energy Manager, Business Unit operations managers, finance managers using our Energy system tools.
4. Construct energy position and cost reports for use by Energy Manager and Finance Committee.
5. Ensure that energy purchased at the Group level is accurately and equitably allocated to individual sites according to a framework. Administer the internal billing process.
6. Contact point and analyst for internal billing. Liaise with business unit finance managers to facilitate transparency of actual and forecast energy costs.
7. Responsive to external parties including but not limited to energy related service providers to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

3. Experience in and knowledge of AEMO information, retailers systems, gas markets, and electricity markets an advantage.
4. Proficient Excel skills, and with a desire to extend these skills.
5. Database skills is an advantage.
