Job Title: Front End Assistant
This is a dynamic role that involves working in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent customer service and support.
Responsibilities:
* Provide warm welcomes to members, assist with loading orders onto the conveyor belt, determine packing preferences, answer questions, share information on promotions, thank members, and offer prompt and courteous service.
* Pack member orders into boxes and load them onto a separate trolley or flatbed, checking for tampering and following all safety and security procedures. Assist members in loading orders into their cars when necessary.
* Run for items such as merchandise, boxes, register supplies, and item numbers as requested by cashiers to maintain smooth operations.
* Transfer items not on the belt to a separate trolley or flatbed as cashiers scan them, adhering to proper departmental procedures.
* Maintain cleanliness of the register area and general front-end space, immediately addressing spills and trip hazards.
* Retrieve trolleys and flatbeds from the parking area using a rope with a clasping hook, pushing no more than 10 trolleys together, while keeping the lot area free of debris and sweeping in front of the building.
* Perform related tasks such as setting up and closing duties for the department, including returning products, collecting paperwork, stocking registers, and cleaning the area.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Assist other areas within the department as needed.
* Support other departments within the warehouse as required.
* Operate mechanical trash compactors and cardboard balers.
Skills and Qualifications:

* Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
