Senior Manager - Employment Tax Advisory
Our Employment Tax team focuses on providing high-touch, value-added advisory and compliance services to a diverse client portfolio. We work on projects including complex tax advice, payroll and superannuation reviews, and tax managed services for some of Australia’s largest employers. Our national Employment Tax team within KPMG’s Workforce Advisory business has experienced significant growth and is recruiting senior talent (manager to director level) to join our high-performing Perth team.
Your Opportunity
As a key member of our Employment Tax team within the Tax & Legal division, this role involves leadership and mentoring of junior team members, as well as delivering advisory and compliance engagements for clients. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Consulting with Australia’s largest employers, both corporate and government, on Fringe Benefit Tax, payroll tax, PAYG withholding, and Superannuation Guarantee obligations.
2. Developing employment tax compliance solutions, including leveraging data analytics and robotic process automation.
3. Resolving disputes and investigations with tax authorities.
4. Growing our national network and shaping future employment tax offerings.
5. Collaborating within our wider Workforce Advisory business with a vibrant, growth-oriented team.
6. Building and maintaining external client and internal KPMG relationships.

Your Experience

* Experience with employment tax matters is highly desirable.
* Strong proficiency with Excel and data manipulation.
* Experience with FBT, Alteryx, or other automation tools.
* Legal research and problem-solving skills.
* A proven track record in client service and relationship development.
