Empowering Children's Communication
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families in the Shoalhaven region.
As a Level 3 Speech Pathologist, you will provide culturally safe, evidence-based care to children with complex communication needs, working closely with families, carers, and community support services.
The service employs a holistic, family-centred approach and includes various methods of service delivery. This position is integrated into the Child and Family Speech Pathology team and provides access to clinical supervision and support from experienced Speech Pathologists.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality assessment and intervention to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged 0–5 years across the Shoalhaven.
* Work collaboratively with families from conception through to 5 years of age, offering early intervention to promote optimal child development and wellbeing.
Requirements:
* Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
* Working With Children Check (WWCC).
* Tertiary degree in speech pathology (or equivalent) with eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
* Significant postgraduate experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.
* Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
