The Podiatrist works within a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally safe podiatry services in Central Australia.

The service encompasses prevention, diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical conditions of the feet, including disorders affecting bones and joints, muscular pathologies and neurological and circulatory diseases.

The role requires an understanding of delivering services to remote Aboriginal communities and effective communication with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:
">
* Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experience in managing high-risk foot conditions
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, including communication, problem-solving and conflict management
* Understanding of the wider allied health workforce
* Ability to travel to and work in remote locations up to a week at a time, including travel on light aircraft
