Primary objective
Lead, participate and support outcomes-based management within a multi-functional team of specialists to ensure a high
level of system management/administration, quality service delivery and specialised business analysis to effectively evaluate
the processes and methods used across several systems.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Constructively lead and effectively manage the Finance team in the provision of technical and subject matter expertise
with a focus on continuous improvement of quality service delivery.
2. Provide advice to key stakeholders in relation to finance systems including the design, development, delivery,
maintenance and integration of relevant services and the identification of potential risks, sensitivities, and solutions.
3. Undertake analysis and interpretation of business requirements in areas of substantial complexity including
identification, documentation, and validation of information requirements regarding corporate system development
initiatives.
1. Manage system acceptance testing, implementation activities and liaise with programming and other technical service
providers to ensure development of quality systems.
1. Develop and maintain effective collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders such as business system owners,
system users and external service providers.
1. Actively participate as a full member of the Division contributing innovative ideas and solutions to all aspects of Division
business.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Proven expertise in corporate business systems management, administration and analysis, IT service management,
including the delivery of client focussed system services.
2. Proven high-level stakeholder engagement, customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact
effectively with people of diverse cultures and communicate complex issues in non-technical terms.
3. Proven ability in professionally developing people and leading teams in a culture of continuous growth and improvement.
4. Proven ability in project management and planning methodologies and frameworks, including the Software
Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
5. Well-developed knowledge of business process analysis relevant to corporate business systems and experience with
the development of functional and technical specifications and business process maps.
1. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude that emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, respectful
and innovative.
Desirable
1. Prior knowledge of or experience with finance systems; or prior experience working with a complex systems
environment featuring integrated legacy and contemporary technologies.
2. Qualifications in business, information technology or certifications/experience in DevOps, ITIL or other related
discipline.
