Facilities Maintenance Specialist
This role is pivotal in upholding our high standards and delivering exceptional quality to guests.
You will be responsible for performing general repairs within the property, encompassing guest rooms, common areas, and building. This will involve coordinating and negotiating with external contractors, overseeing their work to ensure a high standard of quality, and conducting regular maintenance tasks and inspections of the facilities.
Main Responsibilities
* General repairs within the property including guest rooms, common areas and building
* Proficiency in Painting, Plastering, and Carpentry
* Coordinate and negotiate with external contractors
* Oversee contractor work to ensure a high standard and quality is maintained
* Maintain a proactive maintenance schedule
* Perform regular maintenance tasks & inspections of the facilities
* Liaise with guests and staff on maintenance issues and progress of works
* Efficient and cost-conscious
* Contribute to a safe working environment
* Prior experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous
* Calmness and ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines
* A keen eye for detail, professional personal presentation, and excellent organizational skills
