Electrify your future.**About the role**AGL's Renewables team based at the **North Brown Hill Wind Farm** are looking for a **Wind Service Technician** to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our wind farms across South Australia and Victoria, helping deliver AGL's vision for a sustainable future.Based at the **North Brown Hill Wind Farm**, located near Hallett in South Australia, consists of 63 wind turbine generators with a total capacity of 132.3 MW and has been operational since 2011, playing a significant role in providing clean, renewable energy to the region.This is a hands-on technical role focused on maintaining and servicing wind farm assets to ensure reliability, safety, and optimal performance.## **What you will be doing*** Perform routine and breakdown maintenance, servicing, inspection, and monitoring of wind farm assets* Prepare work records and reports, including input into SAP* Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems and AGL's safety standards* Conduct Hazard Risk Analysis and Job Safety Analysis as required* Ensure compliance with Safe Access Rules and participate in toolbox and safety meetings* Receive Access Authorities and progress to Recipient In Charge (RIC) if required* Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure safe and high-quality work* Provide and receive on-the-job training, mentoring team members to maintain high skill and safety standards* Demonstrate AGL values by collaborating across the business and contributing to overall success## ## **What you will bring**You're a skilled technician with a strong mechanical or electrical background, passionate about renewable energy and safety.* Electrical (Preferred) OR Mechanical Trade qualification (with a "disconnect reconnect" licence preferred but not required).* HV certification (preferred)* Experience with HV/LV systems, hydraulics, and mechanical systems in industrial, commercial, or residential environments* Understanding of wind farm operations and maintenance for safe, efficient performance* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration* Self-motivated with excellent time management and ability to work independently and in a team* Valid Victorian or South Australian driver's license (depending on asset location)* Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces* Additional desirable qualifications: GWO training, working at heights, manual handling, HV/LV rescue, fire awareness, first aid.**At AGL, we offer a wide range of benefits including:*** Flexible working options.* Discounts on energy, telcos and solar plans.* Participate in Energise - our reward & recognition program.* Access 20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary carer.* Access to an additional week of recharge leave per year.* Play an active role in our diversity & inclusion initiatives.* Novated leasing and Electric Vehicle subscriptions.* Access to study assistance, AGL's share purchase plan and insurance deals.*\*Benefits may change over time and vary based on role type and location.***Applications close 6th March 2026.****Inclusion at AGL**At AGL, we value diversity and welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals with disabilities, culturally diverse individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
