Position
We are looking for a talented Workshop technician to join our team specialising in engine repairs and maintenance for our Campbellfield branch.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a first‐class service to our customers across automotive, mining, industrial and agricultural markets
* Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
* Diagnose and repair engines
* Inspect and replace components as required
* Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Service Supervisor
* Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens
Requirements
* Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification – Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards); Light Vehicle considered
* Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products
* Previous workshop exposure would be highly regarded
* Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities
* Valid Australian Driver's licence required
