About the role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager the main responsibilities of the role include:
* Full-function Payroll processing across multiple pay cycles
* Calculation and processing of Superannuation and Payroll Tax
* Calculation and processing of backpays, leave entitlements, and employee entitlements.
* Processing of terminations and redundancies
* Interpretation of Modern Awards and EBAs
* Responding to Payroll related inquiriesSetting up and onboarding of new employees
* Other ad hoc projects and tasks within the scope of the role

To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:
* Demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities.
* An exceptional eye for detail, time management skills, and ability to work to deadlines
* You must be a strong problem solver with a "can-do" attitude.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* A team player with a positive attitude.
