About the role
You will be a key member of our Caboolture retail store team and will often be a key point of contact with our customers. In this role you will be expected to find out the needs of the customer and then present them with a suitable solution. As such you will need to have a thorough understanding of the products and services provided by Stratco and be willing to participate in regular training relating to Stratco's products and systems to ensure your knowledge is kept up to date. You will also be expected to lead by example and support the store manager in their efforts to grow sales and improve the skills of the store team.
The role will involve:
Face to face and telephone sales
Leading and participating in training and personal development sessions
Assisting with the development of rosters and training programmes
Store merchandising and stock control
Assisting with general store management activities
Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies
The successful applicants will have the following skills and attributes:
A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
An eye for detail whilst working in a fast paced environment
The ability to coach and develop team skills
Experience supervising others whilst advantageous is not essential
The ability to build your customer base and attract and manage trades business
Proven selling skills
Possess a genuine desire to succeed
Willingness to work Saturdays
