As a BIM Designer | Fire Protection, you will:
* Collaborate with Fire Protection engineers to produce detailed and coordinated BIM models and drawings across all project phases.
* Model fire protection systems such as sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, pumps, and detection systems using Revit and other BIM tools.
* Support the delivery of compliant, constructible, and high-quality documentation in line with Australian codes and standards.
* Contribute to digital coordination and clash detection processes, working closely with other services disciplines.
* Maintain and apply BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and ensure all models meet internal and client-specific standards.
* Participate in design coordination meetings and support continuous improvement in BIM delivery across the team.
What you'll bring:
* Experience
: 2-3+ years of experience in BIM modelling for building services, preferably with a focus on Fire Protection systems.
* Technical skills
: Solid Revit proficiency is essential; experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360 is a bonus.
* Industry knowledge
: Understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC), AS 2419, AS 2118, and other fire system design standards.
* Detail-oriented mindset
: A commitment to model accuracy, documentation quality, and design integrity.
* Team player
: Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with engineers, designers, and external consultants.
