Food Quality Leader Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our food quality team, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
* Quality Assurance Expertise: Develop systems and processes to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
* Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to internal standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
* Audit Readiness: Coordinate audit schedules and ensure site readiness for certification processes.
* Culture Promotion: Engage teams in maintaining a strong food safety and quality culture.
* Issue Investigation: Investigate and respond to food safety and quality issues using root cause analysis.
* External Stakeholder Relations: Build and manage relationships with key external stakeholders including customers, auditors, regulators, and suppliers.
* Hygiene Program Oversight: Oversee site hygiene programs, supplier performance reviews, and product testing requirements.
About This Role:
* 5+ years' experience in a food manufacturing quality leadership role.
* Strong understanding of HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, and GFSI frameworks (e.g. BRC, SQF).
* Experience in managing internal and external audits, as well as retail customer standards.
* A confident communicator with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
* Comfortable working cross-functionally to solve problems and drive improvement.
* Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
