As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation's technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Tackle support tickets and phone calls via our central service desk with professionalism and efficiency.
* Diagnose and resolve everyday IT issues, from printers to passwords, in a timely and effective manner.
* Configure new user accounts, manage access permissions, and deploy devices to meet the needs of our staff.
* Install and update software across laptops, desktops, and mobile devices to maintain optimal performance.
* Maintain accurate records, user guides, and our knowledge base to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Provide guidance and friendly training to empower staff members with confidence in using technology.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient running of our operations.
* Evaluate complex issues and escalate them to senior staff when necessary, knowing that you are part of a supportive team.
What We're Looking For
* A relevant tertiary qualification or a combination of solid experience and training.
* Exceptional troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and communication systems.
* Strong Microsoft knowledge – Windows, Office, Teams, and other tools.
* Service desk experience and a talent for explaining technical concepts at various levels.
* Excellent interpersonal skills – calm under pressure and clear in communication.
* A passion for solving problems, managing tasks, and simplifying processes to benefit others.
