 
        
        Overview 
Nurse Unit Manager Operating Theatres role at Ramsay Health Care. Lead a team across 6 operating theatres and the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care. Report to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services - Perioperative Services. 
Responsibilities 
- Lead and oversee the operating theatres and PACU, supported by Assistant Nurse Unit Managers, Registered and Enrolled Nurses, Theatre Technicians, and Administrative staff. 
- Implement quality systems in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards; drive continuous improvement and identify clinical risks to ensure patient-centered care. 
- Drive process efficiencies by managing labour costs and optimising resource allocation while aligning with departmental and hospital strategic objectives. 
- Foster professional development and education within the team and enhance relationships with visiting medical officers (VMOs). 
Qualifications 
- Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing 
- Minimum 5 years’ postgraduate experience in a perioperative environment 
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and support teams 
- Experience managing budgets, including labour costs 
Highly regarded 
- Postgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing, management, or leadership 
- Previous experience in a senior leadership or management role within a hospital setting 
Remuneration 
Base hourly rate ranging from $66.09 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements 
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
