We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our Workday Finance Practice. This individual will be a core member of the finance leadership team, playing a dual role as both a strategic leader and a hands‑on contributor. The ideal candidate will bring deep Workday Finance expertise, lead multiple projects as a solution architect, and drive excellence in delivery, people development, and practice growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight & Delivery
Provide oversight for multiple Workday Finance projects across the practice.
Act as a trusted advisor to project teams, identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring successful delivery.
Sales & Business Development
Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work.
Support orals.
Project Work
- Guide the customer through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the customer’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
- Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday Financials solution.
- Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping the client, your project team, and your Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
- Willingness to take a leadership position on a project, or as a Cognizant or Workday product Partner Lead and / or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
- Display your hands‑on expertise of the software, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.
- Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts, including providing support for shadow assignments.
Education and Experience Required
- Possess 3‑5 years of Workday (or other ERP) Consulting implementation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Required characteristics: fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoy quick paced work environments.
- Must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished.
- Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects.
