Specific Role:
* We are looking for an English tutor who can tutor a year 4 student in Writing and Handwriting in Lane Cove for weekly one hour lessons on Monday or Wednesday afternoons (Monday is the preference).
* Location: In-person in Lane Cove
* Starting Date: ASAP
* Requirements: You must have completed High School with an ATAR of 85 or above, you must have an ABN (or be willing to get one) and a WWCC for paid workers (or be willing to get one). Two reference checks are also part of this role.
General Position Overview:
* Whilst we are specifically hiring for this one role, it allows you to apply for other roles at LoopLearners. We are actively looking for tutors who can tutor in Lane Cove and the surrounding suburbs.
* One-on-one tutoring sessions (in person or online).
* Flexibility to set your own schedule—work when it suits you
* Communicate with parents to adjust lessons and provide additional tasks for students.
* Access to our tutor management system to track your schedule, invoices, and more.
What You'll Earn:
* Great rates: $40–60 per job, depending on the job, subject and your experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Education: Must have completed schooling in Australia, with a minimum ATAR of 85+ OR a relevant teaching qualification/experience.
* Work Rights: Must be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa with work rights (excluding holiday visas).
* Compliance: Must hold a current Paid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one.
* ABN: Must have or be willing to apply for an Australian Business Number (ABN).
* Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Additional Information:
* Job type: Subcontractor (flexibility to work).
* Expected hours: 1–30 hours per week, depending on your availability.
* Locations: Sydney, NSW (in-person tutoring) or online.
