Job Description
From a Paediatric play-based session to help a child develop motor skills, to assessing & making recommendations on potential modifications to the environment through assistive technology or home modifications to improve accessibility; the work of an OT is varied. You will…
* Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity to perform ADL's and IADL's
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.
* Participate in professional development and receive formal 1:1 supervision
* Engage in group supervision & disability specific workshops
* Collaborate with our wider multidisciplinary team of Speechies, Physio's, EP's, Psychologists and BSP's.
Qualifications
About You
We are seeking a person who has:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
* A passion for collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team
* A desire to make a real difference within the community
* Experience within paediatrics
We are looking for people who authentically want to improve the lives of people living with a disability.
* A Team Player who is eager to learn from and collaborate within an MDT
* Looking for a FUN and inviting team culture where we look out for one another
* Eligible for registration with AHPRA upon graduating as an OT
