**The client**

My client is a professional services firm based in Robina who pride themselves on having one of the best team cultures in Brisbane and they are looking for another superstar to join their team and that could just be you

The firm focuses on building and fostering long term relationships with their clients, providing an experienced and collaborative approach as well as delivering innovative ideas. Their client base is diverse in portfolio range, size and industry and the Bookkeeping team are equally as driven and strong in team culture and are results focussed.

**The role**

Managing a team of 4 bookkeepers, with 3 being offshore you will be responsible to manage a portfolio of external customers, providing bookkeeping services as well as:

- Team training and management
- Process improvement: You'll work to spot opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient solutions for your portfolio of customers.
- Bookkeep for complex clients
- Supervise and review team work
- Other duties, as required.
- This is an _**_office based_**_ role working fulltime from 8.30-5.00pm Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch_

**About you**

Apart from having a service and results driven personality, you will also be a strong team player and thrive on being organised, proactive and an active participant in the results of the business and your team going from strength to strength.

You will be commercially minded and love building relationships with your clients. You will have a background of either owning and running your own bookkeeping business, working in a similar role with another firm or ready to step up and manage your own team.

Some key experience and skills required for this role are:

- Current and relevant experience in similar bookkeeping management role
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Xero, MYOB and other bookkeeping software
- High level knowledge of bookkeeping, GST, payroll and tax rules as required for bookkeeping Australian business
- Capacity to work autonomously and within a team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work within set timeframes and meet deadlines
- Commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing professional development
- Positive contribution to the office culture
- Confidence and professionalism in all communications, written, and interpersonal skills
