**Digital Engineering Manager**

**At the**NSW Department of Education**, we educate and inspire lifelong learners - from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training.**
- **Temporary Full-Time up to 01 October 2029**:

- **Competitive salary of $149,739 pa to $173.174 pa plus superannuation and leave loading**

**About the role**

Lead and manage the Digital Engineering Strategy and team for the implementation of Digital Engineering practices to improve the digital standards and delivery outcomes for School Infrastructure projects and EFSG Pattern Book. The role works collaboratively with design consultants, project teams and other key stakeholders, to ensure program deliverables and milestones are met in accordance with relevant departmental, policy and legislative requirements.

The Digital Engineering team is comprised of experienced digital engineering technicians and the team are key members of the School Infrastructure Design and Infrastructure Standards division (DAIS). The Digital Engineering team works across all divisions of School Infrastructure including Infrastructure Delivery and Asset Management. The DAIS team is response for coordinating and leading both continuous improvement and innovation in the areas of School Infrastructure design, technical standards, educational review feedback and digital engineering.

**About you -**
- Experience as a transformation leader responsible for establishing and implementation a digital engineering business unit within an organisation with a wide range of stakeholders and user groups
- Experience in BIM Management, establishing and implementing BIM management plans, audit systems and reporting
- Experience managing stakeholders, direct line management and customers
- Extensive program and change management experience to plan, manage and deliver programs, on time and within resources.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience..
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
