About the role
As our new Senior Investment Analyst - Credit, you'll be part of the Alternatives and Credit team with a focus on supporting CareSuper's Credit Asset Class.
In this role you will:
* Make a significant contribution in the management of the Credit asset class in partnership with the Head of Credit and Credit Portfolio Manager
* Design and conduct advanced investment research and analysis, including strategic reviews and thematic research
* Undertake due diligence on new investment managers and strategies, including qualitative and quantitative assessment, recommendation formation and documentation
* Be responsible for monitoring performance assessment and reviewing appointed managers
* Support and, where appropriate, lead implementation activity within the asset class including mandates, transitions, and restructures
* Actively generate and challenge investment ideas, providing independent judgement and insight
* Assist with the preparation of high-quality asset class reviews, and recommendations for the Investment Committee and Board
* Mentor and support Investment Analysts, contributing to capability uplift across the team
What we're looking for

You'll thrive in this role if you have:
* Considerable experience working in an Investment function within a Superannuation Fund, Asset Manager, Asset Consultant, or closely related financial services organization
* Strong practical knowledge of financial instruments, credit and capital markets, as well as portfolio construction principles
* Demonstrated experience leading investment analysis, manager research, or strategy review processes
* Proven ability to exercise sound judgement in complex investment decisions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing Board and Committee‐level papers
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously
* A degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline
