Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team. This is a critical role that plays a key part in ensuring the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and comfortable environment for our residents by attending to general maintenance tasks, checking maintenance logs, prioritizing tasks, and coordinating contractors as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend to general maintenance tasks as directed including gardening as required
* Checking maintenance logs and prioritising tasks, coordinating contractors to attend as required
* Plan and schedule maintenance across the home under the guidance of the Home Manager
* Ordering and storing of stock as required
* Ensure the timely action of hazards, incidents, and other events that involve the maintenance function
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a maintenance or gardening role, a commitment to continuous quality improvement, and a working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
