Overview
Anglicare's Home and Community teams provide support and services that enable clients to maintain independence at home, including lifestyle, transport, social support, and clinical support in Nursing or Allied Health. Based in our Townsville office, we are offering a 12 month fixed-term, full-time Scheduling Officer role to join our team. You will bring experience to ensure our staff deliver exceptional client outcomes in the community. The role involves a rotating Monday–Friday roster with start times from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling and roster management using an electronic data management system (experience with Procura or Alayacare is highly regarded but not mandatory).
- Self-manage and prioritise a full workload in a busy, changing environment to meet deadlines and management requirements.
- Provide highly effective customer service and clear written and oral communication across a broad range of ages, cultures and socio-economic groups.
- Maintain accurate administration with attention to detail even when tasks are routine.

- Maintain a current Drivers Licence and National Police Clearance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Scheduling experience with electronic data management systems; Procura or Alayacare experience is highly regarded but not mandatory.
- Robust customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to relate effectively across diverse ages, cultures and backgrounds.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in administration.
- Initiative and the ability to monitor and manage workload within staffing guidelines.
- Current Drivers Licence and National Police Clearance.
