This includes making reasonable adjustments to support applicants at all stages of the process and employee lifecycle.About The SchoolAllenstown State School is in Rockhampton, a regional city known for its heritage charm, family-friendly lifestyle, and access to the Capricorn Coast.About The RoleAs the Head of Special Education Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Manage and coordinate high-quality advice and support from the Special Education and Early Childhood Development Programs.Lead and manage these programs, providing advice to classroom teachers for students with disabilities as needed.Offer high-quality advice to school leadership and staff to plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities.Coordinate and provide targeted teaching for students needing intervention.Provide and coordinate case management for students requiring significant adjustments.Support staff in accessing specialist services and professional development.Engage in school decision-making and professional development to contribute to school goals and vision.Implement and manage school-wide systems to monitor and record the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability.Form partnerships with parents, government agencies, and community groups to support students with disabilities.Manage human, financial, facilities, and curriculum resources to achieve goals.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
