The Tesla Power Systems Engineering, APAC team specializes in grid connection studies across Australia, New Zealand, China, and Taiwan, leveraging deep expertise to seamlessly integrate battery energy storage systems into the grid. The Intern will play a pivotal role supporting our engineers and helping to shape the future of the APAC energy landscape.
You'll have a unique opportunity to join the Power Systems team in developing and negotiating Generator Performance Standards (GPS) to ensure compliance and operational excellence. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project developers, specialized study consultants, Network Service Providers (NSPs), and the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) to navigate complex grid connection requirements.
Furthermore, you will have the exciting opportunity to leverage Tesla's cutting‐edge Hardware‐in‐the‐Loop (HIL) simulation facilities located in Melbourne or Brisbane to validate models, test advanced control systems, and drive technical innovation.
