Associate Director (Business Services & Tax)
Our client, a leading firm known for its commitment to integrity, efficiency, and innovation, is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their team. Compensation
Base pay range: A$200,000.00/yr - A$230,000.00/yr. Package includes bonus and other benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: act as the primary point of contact for a diverse client portfolio, offering expert advice and developing strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Strategic Advisory: provide tailored advice on complex accounting issues, financial analysis, tax legislation, and broader client strategies.
- Team Leadership: lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high‐performing work environment.
- Business Development: identify and create growth opportunities within your client base, spotting recent business possibilities and cross‐referrals.
- Tax Compliance: oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents, guiding and supervising junior staff.
- Workflow Management: prioritize and manage workflows effectively, ensuring clients are informed of timelines and deliverables are met as promised.
- Process Improvement: participate in projects that enhance team efficiency and business strategies, helping to refine systems and processes.
- Collaborative Solutions: work closely with clients and other professional advisors (legal, finance, insurance, and investment) to develop custom solutions that meet client needs.
Experience & Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in public practice, focusing on business services and tax.
- Strong technical expertise in accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
