The Role

Be a part of a dedicated, innovative team and build your career in our impressive Clients & Markets team

Working closely under the mentorship of senior Clients & Markets professionals, this role will support the strategic market, client and practice growth initiatives for our Advisory, Risk and Regulation stream across a range of practice areas including Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety; Competition and Public Sector.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry leading partners and lawyers with client engagement, identifying new opportunities, and promoting the Firm's brand and capabilities in a competitive legal market. This highly sought after role will provide the variety and challenge you seek to further develop your skills in professional services sector.

Key Responsibilities

* Assisting with drafting and coordinating tenders, bids and proposals, capability statements, thought leadership projects and fee-earner profiles;

* Proactively assist the relevant practice managers to identify, pursue and convert client opportunities and other stream initiatives;

* Assist with market analysis and related research;

* Collating and preparing firm directory and award submissions;

* Collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders to develop and manage client relationships;

* Coordinating the in-house client seminar program including webinars and events;

* Developing a profile and credibility with internal stakeholders across the firm, and actively promoting the Clients & Markets function, its expertise and capabilities; and

* Other tasks as required by the Clients & Markets Manager.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* 2+ years' experience in a business development, communications or related role, ideally gained within a professional services/corporate environment;

* Tertiary qualification in marketing or similar business discipline;

* Exposure to preparing tenders and proposals;

* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel and Visio);

* Familiarity with Client Relationship Management databases (Interaction desirable).

In addition, you will possess the following attributes:

* Natural ability to build rapport and relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external;

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;

* Strong project and time management skills, including the ability to efficiently manage stakeholder expectations;

* Positive, can-do attitude with the ability and desire to work and collaborate within a dynamic team.
