Overview
Liftek Griffith is seeking an experienced Truck Driver - Yardsman to join our team in our Wagga Branch, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of goods, as well as general yard duties. If you have a passion for logistics and a commitment to providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operating light and heavy vehicles to pick up and deliver goods
* Loading and unloading forklifts and Access lifting Equipment in a timely and efficient manner
* General yard duties such as stock management and maintenance
* Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients
* Complying with all relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations
* Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation
What we're looking for
* Valid heavy vehicle driver's licence (HR or HC) and previous experience as a truck driver
* Minimum of 3-5 years of truck driving experience required
* Forklift licence or experience operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment
* Current forklift licence required at the time of application
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Adaptable and willing to take on a variety of tasks as required
* Australian work rights are required for this position
