Due to increased workload and a growing project pipeline, they are looking for a talented React Native Engineer to join and assist in developing an app that will be using Bluetooth to connect to the product they have developed. The Role
In this dynamic role, you'll tackle new challenges daily, leveraging your process-driven approach and innovative mindset to drive continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you'll help shape and execute strategic initiatives. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of systems, technology, and team leadership across multiple projects. With the product receiving constant feedback from their consumers, there will be multiple iterations as time goes on.
Your Skills & Experience
- Proven experience developing mobile applications using React Native and Expo, with a strong portfolio of published apps.
- Solid understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integrations within mobile environments.
- Experience using libraries such as react-native-ble-plx or similar for Bluetooth connectivity.
- Ability to manage Bluetooth device scanning, pairing, data transmission, and background processes effectively.
- Strong knowledge of mobile app lifecycle, performance optimization, and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with iOS and Android deployment processes using Expo or EAS Build.
- Comfortable working with APIs, state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand), and native modules when necessary.
- Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle as other products within the business are in React, Typescript, AWS

You have exceptional technical know-how and a real passion for the end-to-end solutions that drive the user experience and customer happiness. You will have effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
