Site Manager jobs in Sydney this good, don't pop up every day
Why is this role for you?
You've been a foreman or SM for a few years delivering fitout projects, and you want a change next year. You know, there are better builders out there that look after their team and don't mess about with their subbies. Working for a builder who's been around 10 years you'll deal directly with the owners and the PM and decisions will be made fast. Your voice will be heard. Safety is integral here and doing the right thing for their staff and clients is at the heart of what they do. You won't be cutting corners or delivering rubbish projects. You'll also do a mix of education/university projects alongside commercial office fitouts. The role is only available as a site manager is leaving after 7 years to go and do something different in his life. The other 6 SM's have been there 2-8 years each so it's a place that you stick around.
Perks wise you'll get a salary package of $160-$200k package plus a yearly bonus based on the success of the projects that you've been working on. Be rewarded for your hard yakka.

What makes you a strong candidate?
You've been working on construction sites for at least 5 years. You may have a trade or you may have got into construction through another avenue. It doesn't matter. What does matter is that you can confidently run your own projects, you can communicate well with subbies and that you do your best every day. You'll need experience of delivering fitout projects around the $2million mark. If you've done bigger than that's even better.
