This is a senior leadership role within the Centre Management team and plays a key part in shaping the Centre's marketing strategy, enhancing community engagement and supporting retailer success. You will be working closely with a fantastic Retail Manager and a dedicated Marketing Coordinator in a highly collaborative environment. In addition to your core marketing responsibilities, this position also includes weekend Duty Manager responsibilities on a rostered basis, specifically: Friday 1pm - 9pm Saturday and Sunday as rostered For each duty weekend worked, you will receive two days in lieu. Key Responsibilities: Develop, lead and implement an annual strategic marketing plan to drive foot traffic, increase retailer sales and strengthen the Centre's brand positioning. Build strong relationships with retailers, supporting their individual marketing needs and aligning broader Centre promotions to benefit all tenants. Lead the creation and execution of a 12-month calendar of promotional events, centre-wide campaigns, and advertising activity. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and aligned to strategic outcomes. Oversee media relations, community engagement, and Centre publicity including press releases and event promotion. Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, local opportunities and consumer behaviour insights. Work alongside the Centre Management team to support operational and leasing strategies. Provide leadership to the Marketing Coordinator and contribute to national marketing initiatives where required. Participate in the Centre's Duty Manager roster, acting as the primary on-site manager during rostered weekends to support operational coverage. About You: Retail experience is absolutely essential. You will have a strong background in shopping centres, retail property, or a fast-paced retail marketing environment. Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills - confident working with retailers, community groups, and internal teams. Strong budget management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Hands-on and proactive approach to problem solving with a can-do attitude. Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience writing newsletters and marketing content. Comfortable with flexible hours and rostered weekend duty responsibilities.
