Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform basic carpentry tasks such as installing doors, locks, cabinets, and hanging wall fixtures and frames.
* Conduct general maintenance and minor repairs to facilities.
* Clean gutters, install weatherboards, and bollards.
* Supply labor for various projects.
* Perform basic painting and plastering tasks.
* Rubbish removal and use of truck and trailer.
* Travel to tip - waste woolert.
* Bathroom/kitchen renovations/makeovers.
* Complete work orders thoroughly, efficiently, and on time.
* Maintain a clean work site and company vehicle at all times.
* Collect materials from suppliers.
Requirements
* Must have handyman or maintenance experience.
* Must have basic hand/power tools.
* Must have a driver's license.
* Must have a current police check.
* Must have work boots.
* Forklift license preferred.
* MC truck license preferred.
* Ability to reverse vehicle with confidence.
* White card preferred.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to take initiative in solving problems.
Benefits
38 hour week.
$35 hourly rate paid weekly.
Company work vehicle, fuel card, and etag provided.
Company uniform provided.
Work Environment
This role involves working in aged care facilities and hospitals.
Applicants must be COVID vaccinated (3 doses) and have a current police check.

Skills and Experience
Handyman: 5 years (preferred).
Licence/certification: Car licence (preferred), 3 COVID vaccinations (preferred), previously worked in aged care/hospital environment (preferred), forklift license (preferred), police check not more than 1 year old (preferred), MR truck license (preferred).
