About the Hospital
Our Animal Emergency Services (AES) Hobart hospital is a vibrant hub, delivering exceptional emergency veterinary care with passion and commitment. We prioritise gold‐standard patient care and create an environment where our team can thrive. We are looking for a new Veterinary Administration Manager to be an inspiring leader to our vet team. This is a non clinical managerial role.
What You'll Do
* Be the cornerstone of support for our veterinary team, who are the heart of our hospitals!
* Foster a culture of excellence in patient care.
* Drive financial management and hospital reporting with a focus on team collaboration.
* Lead projects and ensure smooth operations to enhance team performance.
* Partner with our Clinical Manager to champion outstanding patient outcomes.
* Oversee rostering and resources, ensuring our veterinary teams are equipped to excel.
What We're Looking For
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role ideally within the veterinary industry or similar (clinical qualifications not required).
* A dynamic leader with experience in operations and a strong background in people development, onboarding, and performance management.
* Expertise in staff costing management and project coordination, with a people‐focused approach.
* Proven experience in leading a team, inspiring others through your approachability and transparency.
* A natural relationship builder, adept at fostering connections and problem‐solving.
* Flexibility in working hours to support our team and business needs.
* A detail‐oriented multi‐tasker who thrives in a fast‐paced environment.
* Flexible with hours. PPT 60 hours per fortnight mostly worked during regular business hours.
